I've been in love with this two guys ever since the first time I saw their videos on Youtube. Hilarious humor, brilliant technique and wonderful creativity cooked all together in such a charming performance!

Spending money project! :))

A few projects awaiting:

1.) buy a standing mirror. Seriously wanna have one in my bedroom. It'll help me dress up faster and easier. I do think I can't completely start my style experiment without having a mirror inside my bedroom first.
2.) buy a camera! Sony deh. Will soon go traveling. And a good camera might help me save the look of my style experiment later on...
3.) baru deh build the wardrobe basic lagi...

You are what you think

I started this day looking for a good quote to cherish my day, then I stumbled upon this wonderful words:

You create thoughts, and everything in life begins with the quality of your thinking.

Ini menambah keyakinan gw akan quote2 yang sudah lama gw dengar (yg sering kali jadi terasa klise) "You are what you think" dan satu pesan dari seorang pemuka agama "hati2 dengan apa yang kau renungkan."

Indeed, mind is something SO POWERFUL that we actually have to be really careful with it. Sangat ga bijaksana untuk mengisi pikiran kita dengan segala hal negatif, alih2 berusaha mengembangkan pikiran yang berkualitas.

Akhir kata, gw meng-quote kata2 one of my inspiring friends. "Think before you think."

Second lesson with new teacher

Second lesson. The target has been set. Hari2 penuh perjuangan akan segera dimulai kembali.

Ehm... here's the program. Berceuse sedang dalam proses dihapal, dan dalam 1 bulan etude 25/12 (yes, he gave me this number, despite my older teacher's refusal before) dan 10/5 (back to this black keys...) harus udah kelar. Thank you very much!

Scherzo, sembari jalan bersama etude, akan dipilih antara no 2 ato 3. Kata beliau, "not no. 4 yet." hahahaha

Jadi, persiapan Chopin comp dimulai. jeng jeng jeng...

First lesson with a new teacher

A bit late, but I just had my first lesson with my new piano teacher, Mr. Levi Gunardi. And, kesan-kesan setelahnya: "two thumbs up!" and "I'm having fun!" And then,, just in time to add the spice, I got the news that Fariz (my little dearly "brother" at campus, and also a front line member of Mr. Mario's autism studio) has been transfered to the same teacher.

Currently TRYING to study Chopin etude 10/11 and 25/3, moga-moga berhasil :P

And, lagi baca Brisingr (I know it's a bit late, but blame my overly full daily schedule). Tiap kali baca ginian, gw selalu pengen punya naga!

Hidup seimbang dan fleksibel dalam mengambil tindakan

Yak, sesuai judul, itulah yang akan gw coba lakukan. Setelah beberapa saat yang penuh ketegangan mental, gw sudah merasa lebih sehat :D masih ada sisa2 yang akan dibereskan seiring dengan berjalannya waktu, tapi harusnya udah enggak sesulit sebelumnya (namanya juga udah tinggal sisa). Gw makin bersyukur dengan kehidupan gw saat ini, dengan adanya orang yang spesial di samping gw, temen2 yang care dan keluarga yang tetep ada when I need a place to call home. Lebih2, gw bersyukur udah bisa menjadi diri gw sendiri lagi :)

Sedikit random facts, gw blajar rachmaninoff prelude C# minor yang terkenal itu lhoooooo... hasil keisengan karena baru aja beli buku rachmaninoff :D I love his music!!!!

Reading book

Lagi baca buku ini, dimana judulnya mengkombinasikan 2 kata favorit gw saat ini: "tidur" dan "menurunkan berat badan" (ehm, 4 kata seh)

Comment: menarik juga sih.

Lebih menarik lagi karena ternyata cover aslinya kaya gitu.

Kesan yang ditimbulkan sungguh... berbeda.

2 days more to the climax of my campus life

Icil will be having recital hearing in Monday and is now currently spending my Saturday off work to have some quiet time for herself.

Half of myself doesn't really believe the fact that I'm now in the end of my undergraduate journey. Somehow, the memories of my first lesson is still so fresh in my mind, and it creeps me how time could fly so fast. And it creeps me more to know that maybe I'm not using the time given to me to the fullest yet.

But well, trying my best to be natural now, and believe that everything that's given to me is always the best I can have. And also keeping the mindset to what the future I'm holding on now.
